The Patriot Ledger, a newspaper serving southeastern Massachusetts, has a story today about the spread of mosquito-borne viruses, and quoted health officials who say it is an unprecended level of infection in the insect population.

The infectino is not limited to Eastern Equine Encephalitis, too. West Nile Virus has been detected in several south shore towns, although it is a less severe moquito borne illness.
